Our South Location is located on the corner of 6 Avenue and 28 Street South, close to Henderson Lake. We get to take the children on walks to the park and enjoy our beautiful neighbourhood. We opened this location in February of 2014 and love connecting with families.
We have high staff retention and believe that it greatly benefits the children in our program. With classes, we do our best to have children be in classes with their educator the entire time they are with us at the program. We also apply this to their best friends when moving to a new classroom. We truly believe that these early connections are valuable in creating and maintaining strong social and emotional bonds through out life, so we do our best to foster a sense of security and trust with children and families.
We have a Gardening program that grows bigger every year. We value teaching children a crucial life skill and connecting them to our farming community. Gardening teaches patience, perseverance, flexibility, and handling disappointment such as when the deer eat our plants despite our best efforts. Gardening has shown similar levels of success as anti-depressants in lifting moods and as well as benefits to our microbiome. The children help plant, weed, water and harvest!

We are huge believers in free play and lots of it. Messy play is also a passion, we do it here so you don't have to lol. We go outside every single day, often multiple times a day if the weather allows. Exercising outside reduces stress 4 times more than exercising indoors.
